There are some new features that are added on the Mozilla Thunderbird 60.0 Beta 4, which are mentioned below:
While composing a message now, a delete button allows removal of recipient. This delete button is showed when hovering the To, Cc, Bcc selector.
Improvements in attachments handling while composing mails, Alt+M allows to show attachment pane.
The conversion of folders from MBOX to Maildir format and vice versa. This is an experimental feature, which requires to be allowed by setting preference mail.store_conversion_enabled.
In calendars- copying, cutting or even deleting of selected occurrence or whole series for recurring events.
Offers an ability for directly sending/not sending meeting notifications instead of showing a pop-up in Thunderbird calendars.
Attachments can be reordered now, while composing a new message.
Permit email scheduling for the CalDAV servers, which is supporting the server-side scheduling.
Allows altering Spellcheck Language from the status bar display.
An option under the “Tools >> Options >> Advanced, General” allows to choose whether date/time display will follow the request locale or locale selected in Operating system’s regional settings.
Thunderbird 60.0 Beta 4 now, supports FIDO U2F.

Updated Features

Add-ons are marked as compatible with Mozilla Thunderbird 60 by its author will be disabled.
